I took this at the Safari Inn. It's a FAMOUS motel that has been in a ton of movies from True Romance to Apollo 13. I've never stayed there. But I LOVE the sign. It's so old school cool!

Out on a walk, I found this patch of roses. I really thought they were very pretty. I took this picture with the Hipstamatic app using the Lucifer VI lens and the Ina's 1969 film. The Lucifer lens creates that red hue around the edges of the white flowers.

I took my camera out to learn some of the more advanced settings. I created my own B&W super contrasty option. This is Ling Ling. She is a bit skittish. But she was sitting so nicely that I couldn't resist taking a picture.

This is on the corner of Palmetto & Mateo streets in Los Angeles. This building had been seen in many tv shows and commercials. I have adored this building for some time. This photo almost has an HDR look to it.
DAY 7
Burbank has once a year a classic car fest called BeBoppin in the Park. It is so much fun. So many cool old cars show up. I dressed up in one of my vintage dresses and went out to look at the cars. I took many pictures.
DAY 6
I go in for an infusion (AKA Super Serum) every 6 months to fight my Rheumatoid Arthritis, (RA). They put this weird sock like thing over my injection site. I guess it keeps things in place better.
