I've been a photographer for many years. I started out when I was high school. My mom was also a photographer. In my childhood home, my mom turned the laundry room into a laundry room/darkroom/craft room. When I went home last time, I finally closed up my darkroom for good. I gave the enlargers and most of the other equipment to Spectrum School and Gallery. Check them out here. I did save a few pieces of my beloved darkroom. These are reels that I would develop film on. I so miss my dark room.

Day 16
Last summer I hear about this Danish pastry shop opening here in Los Angeles. It's over in Culver City and I rarely get over to that side of the city. I finally had enough errands to run on the west side that I was going to FINALLY try out Copenhagen Pastry. I was NOT disappointed! The top row is their version of kringle. And on the bottom row there is the copenhagen pastry, water kringle and cinnamon roll. I really enjoyed everything I had. I was a tad bummed to find out they only make the kringle in the traditional kind and not fruit filled. But I will live! Hehehe.

Misc. Info: I borrowed my mom's Nikon to shoot. I have a Nikon SLR but haven't used it in 9 years. I wanted to see how it shot. I didn't really care for it. It's a bit heavy and there were a few quirks that I just wasn't used to to. This is a log cabin my parents have in their back yard.
