Dia De Los Muertos

Halloween has become one of my favorite times of the year. With all the spooky stuff like skulls and spiders and haunted houses, there is always lot of activities to take part in. One event that is always fun is the Dia De Los Muertos at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. This is a celebration of loved ones that have passed on. Usually I get dressed up with sugar skull makeup and a beautiful head dress. But this year, it was over 90 degrees out. We didn't stay long. I did get some good pictures.

SDCC 2012

Today I found out that I got press passes for San Diego Comic Con or as it's known SDCC. This comic/pop culture convention is the Granddaddy of them all. It's epically CRAZY!! Take a look at Morgan Spurlock's documentary called Comic-Con Episode IV: A Fan's Hope. It's about Comic Con and the stuff that goes on.

I just purchased a new camera strap. It's from the company BlackRapid. It's made for women. I really like it. I haven't really shot much with it. But I have walked around with it on, and my neck feels so much better. You can check it out here, BlackRapid

Spices at the Rosebowl Flea Market

At this months Flea Market, there was a spice booth. It smelled amazing. Very exotic. Here are some of the pictures I took from the booth.

World War II Planes

So there were a few World War II planes out at the Burbank Airport. So Phillip, our friend Tiki Al and I got dressed up to go see the lovely birds. These were shot with my Rebel T3i and edited with PictureShow and Pic Grunger.
I totally want to get these framed. Such a fun time!

Changes

This second Project 365 has been shelved. There is change in the air. It's time to re-focus. The last two years have been really rough on me. I lost some of my support system and gained a new support system. Those ladies, who have become my amazing support, have given me such positive net to fall into when I need it. They have given me so much positive juju that I feel like I can "Do it!"  I have decided to take my photography to the next level. I'm working on starting my own photography company.
