So upon driving around, I've past this area a lot and never stopped to take pictures. So I had Phillip drive me out and I shot about 50+ shots. But I had a very strange problem with all of my shots. They all had this blue hue to them. Didn't matter what I shot, all blue. After I came home and played with my camera a bit, I figured out why. DUH!! I had the camera white balanced for fluorescent lights. Super big DUH!!! I must have changed the white balance at some point and forgot to change it back to auto. I can't believe I had done that, although with everything going on in my life, I guess it's not shocking that I made that kind of mistake!
So I white balanced in Aperture and then put the Toy Camera filter on it. I am going to go shoot the same area again but this time I will be more on the ball!

Misc. Info: I had purchased these black rocks a while ago from a shop in Chinatown. I was planning on using them for some kind of decoration but I've gotten around to it. Phillip had found this green rock and so I decided to take some macro shots of the rocks. They didn't turn out so good. So I just shot them without the macro filter on.

OMG 300 Days!!

OMG!!! I can't believe it! It's been 300 days! Boy a lot has happen in those days. From my health being rocky to loosing my mom. It has been a roller coaster. And I never thought I would make it past day 35. I only have 65 days left. My intention is to take these photos after I have completed the 365 and turn them into a book.

I am not sure if I am going to do another 365. This has been pretty hard. I didn't think it was going to be but it really was hard to remember and be on the ball with taking pictures.

I am sure I will decide closer to the end of this project if I am gonna do another one.

I set them down on the coffee table and took several shots. Most were under exposed and blurry or way over exposed and blown out. This was the best shot of the whole lot. And there is still some glare.

Life Gets in the Way.

I haven't been posting recently. I haven't really been shooting much either. That doesn't mean I haven't been taking pictures for the day. I have. With getting sick, stress, and death in the family, I haven't been posting. To find the motivation shoot much more than one picture has been damned near impossible. I don't know if that will change any time soon. I hope it will.
